As many of you know, the [Climate Region Action Plan]* for Shasta County was due for project completion on June 30 2012.  As the month of June began, the contract deliverables were called into question by the Air District.  One of the contract deliverables that could not be met by June 30, was the 30 day Public Comment Period.  AECOM has since requested an extension of the contract which will be presented to the Air Pollution Control Board on Tuesday, June 26.  The change to the contract, of the completion date, which if signed by the Chairman of the Board, will extend the date to September 30, 2012.   

At this time, draft plans are not available.**  I anticipate the inventory will be posted on our website by next Friday.

**Not available?  ¿Por qué?  It's been about 3½ months since the last Climate Region Action Plan workshop.  What changes have been made therein since then?
