Districts should have policy manuals and should be more than happy to share them if you ask.  They're certainly public records.  (Just as an example, here's Redding's Council Policy Manual, helpfully posted online: http://ci.redding.ca.us/council/council_pol.htm.)

Thank for the post and comment from Bruce.... I am also curious whether there are violations to the Brown Act in re: to school board meetings locally or if it applies. It very much appears that many things are decided in private and then the presented at the meeting, such as meetings that last 1:52 seconds (YouTube- 'shortest school board meting ever'). 

 

As a former teacher, I would get wind of 'creative tweaks' within administration to manipulate our tax dollars and with our current economy I would not be surprised if it is in overdrive.

Thanks for the prompt replies.  I checked out the link that Mr. Ross provided and it seems to be the City Council's policy and I couldn't find any direct links to the school districts.  Let me give you some backgound concerning my question earlier since there are obviouly helpful people here.  I live in Del Norte County.  The School Board just passed a Draft Memorandum of Understanding allowing a "Teen Health Center" to be leased to a Health Clinic on High School property.  The description of services that the Health Center provided is intentionally vague in my opinion.  In reality the Health Clinic is funded by the Federal Govt., The California Endowment, and Planned Parenthood.  Regardless of any personal opinions about the mission of the Teen Health Center, I know that they plan on doing Sexually Transmitted Disease testing, pregnancy testing, and providing contraceptives without parental notification or consent (which is legal in CA).  There is already a Teen Health Center less than a quarter of a mile away but the Board and the Health Center WANT the Teen Center on the High School property.  Despite lots of opposition to the approval of this by the citizens of this county, the Board is proceeding forward.  Their goal, so they say, is to reduce teenage pregnancy in this county.  My issues with this, besides moral ones, are as follows:

1:  Promises have been made to the public both orally and in writing that the Board will have oversight over the Health Clinic.  The School District believes that the Health Clinic will share information on the number of students that visit the Clinic.  The MOU says nothing about oversight or information sharing.  In fact it doesn't mention anything about obligations of the Clinic or the School District with the exceptions of the price to lease space and the condition that the Clinic will provide liability insurance.  Here is a link to the MOU:

2: The lease MOU requires the Clinic to have one million dollar liability insurance for employees that will have contact with teens.  Both California and the Del Norte School District require the following from any teacher or administrator who works with children:

At least $2,000,000 per occurrence and $5,000,000 in total general liability insurance, providing coverage for negligence, errors and omissions/educators legal liability, abuse and molestation, and employment practices liability of the School, its governing board, officers, agents, employees, or students. The deductible per occurrence for said insurance shall not exceed $20,000 for any and all losses resulting from negligence, errors and omissions of the School, its governing board, officers, agents, employees, or students.

It makes no sense to me to have clinicians who will be performing medical procedures on children have less liability insurance than a teacher who is not suppose to have physical contact with students. 

Any opinions on the information I provided?  Any ideas how I can procure policy of the School District and the Health Center to inform people what is really going on?  This appears to be a sweet heart deal between the two agencies.  I just want discovery of how it is going to affect our teens so the community can be informed.  Thanks for your time.

J.... I can promise you one thing... it involves money and probably lots of it. As someone who was there, MONEY IS THE PRIMARY GOAL IN PUBLIC SCHOOLS. It is not the students or their parents... it is flat out the money. How to get it, how to get more of it... anyone who says otherwise obviously has never seen the inner workings and heard firsthand the words of administrators.

 

As someone who has taught Sex Ed, they will likely be linked somehow to Planned Parenthood which successfully infiltrated the schools long ago through backdoor means ( and which if you research, goes all the back to WW2 Germany's eugenics program). They will be pushing hard for the HPV vaccine which has permanently disabled a good number of young women (teenagers). Additionally, they are now laying out plans for a similar vaccine for young men (with probably similar negative results).

 

Will these 'clinicians' have Federal and State backround checks with corresponding fingerprinting? I had to. Even though I still have a current permanent Credential and have been fingerprinted more times than Manson, were I to rejoin, the process starts all over again which is fine by me. So you pose good questions... will the lure of money forego the primary need for safety of these students? What indoctrination will be promoted, will it promote an abortion agenda, will it refer or perform abortions with or without parent notification, will they pass out contraception without parent notification etc etc. 

 

Right now as we speak, UNESCO and their NGO clones have been and are diligently working on promoting all kinds of teaching to grades MUCH younger than high school. These include (and I will try and respect folks sensibilities) oral copulation, 'self-pleasing', and the kind of sex still banned under law in many southern states, as well as the outright promotion of homosexual sex as both safe and healthy. All this and the constant indoctrination of clowns like Al Gore and the 'dangers' of carbon (one of the essential elements to life on this planet). 

 

The sexualization of even young children in the schools is real, it's current, and it's growing. I will try and forward you some links and kudos for standing up against a system determined to manipulate these children's minds, hearts, and bodies. Most of these jokers are 'paper tigers' and it's actually fun to screw with them and expose them for the money -hungry bureaucrats they are. Seek out the good teachers and even fewer good administrators and enlist their help (if they will). 

 

BTW, run for the school board there in your town, be a thorn in their side.
