I do know that they follow (or should) the Brown Act, just as the City Council and the Board of Supervisors do.  There are specific rules involving public meetings.

A special board meeting for Redding School District was announced tonight at their regular meeting.  I guess that qualifies as a 72 hour public notice.  The special meeting will be on Friday @ 4pm at the Redding School District office on South Bonnyview Rd.
