In my many years I have come to a conclusion that one useless man is a shame, two is a law firm and three or more is a congress.

Siskiyou Tea Party Patriots is hosting the Mount Shasta Commons on a forestry tour to discuss issues of potential commonality.
The tour will take place at 12:30 PM on the Berryman Family Forest on the outskirts of Weed. Directions are below. Carpooling is encouraged.
Some items for discussion include;
Other topics will be discussed in what is hoped will be an honest, far-ranging discussion on the controversial issues in forestry.
To reach the property (from the south): from I-5, take the central Weed off-ramp (exit #747)
Travel north along Weed Boulevard
Take Hwy 97 turnoff at the “Y” toward Klamath Falls.
Turn left on Alameda Avenue (Hoy Road means you’ve gone too far).
Stay on Alameda, in back of the houses and turn right on the first gravel road.
Travel west ¼ mile, past the house, through the gate, to gathering point near the trailer.

Comment by Chris Hart on July 23, 2011 at 7:18am Please be advised that Congressman Wally Herger DID NOT
join his fellow Congressmen Marco Rubio, Rand Paul, Michele Bachmann,
Jim DeMint etal in making the pledge on CutCapBalancePledge.com. Per
his Deputy District Director, Dave Meurer, who spoke to our group last
Thursday, Congressman Herger does not want to limit his ability to
compromise on budget issues.
We understand his reasoning but as Tea Party adherents doesn’t that lack
the bold positions we want our representatives to take?
Comment by Steve Hart on June 16, 2011 at 6:49am For those of you who are interested, there is going to be another Water Talk Thurs., June 16, at Mt Shasta Resort, Highlands Rm. from 6 to 8 pm. This one is supposed to be about fish. It's unfortunate that it's the same time as our Tea Party Meeting, but I wanted to let you know in case some of you want to attend.

Also, please make suggestions on how we could best spend the funds generated by this effort to advance the principles of the Tea Party. I would like to look into hosting a presentation by Sheriff Richard Mack. What are your ideas? Chris Hart chrishart@snowcrest.net, 530-859-1027

Comment by Kevin Hammons on May 21, 2011 at 9:32am Here is a transcription of the example letter that Anthony Intisio circulated at our meeting on Thursday. He's going to try to find a coordinator to bring cohesion for all the disparate groups and coordinate this protest.
